Arsenal could have to wait until late August to seal a deal for Philippe Coutinho.

It's claimed personal terms have been agreed with the player for his transfer but the season-long loan deal won't get done just yet.

And that's despite the player having a 'whistle stop tour of the club's training ground', according to widespread reports.

Coutinho will only complete the transfer when he leaves Bayern Munich.

He's currently coming to the end of a year-long switch in Bavaria but won't return to Barcelona until they have finished competing in the Champions League.

With the final taking place on August 23, it could be a while before the player is revealed to Gunners fans – if a loan deal is concluded between the two clubs.
