Marketers Will Pay Naira for Dangote Fuel -IPMAN

Aliko Dangote Refined petroleum products from the $20bn Dangote Petroleum Refinery are to be sold in naira and not in the United States dollar as speculated in some quarters, oil marketers clarified on Monday. Dealers in the downstream oil sector also stated that the registration process for marketers at the refinery was still ongoing, as many operators had continued to register with the plant. Ogun relax COVID-19 regulations; reopen schools and worship centres

Ogun Governor Dapo Abiodun has declared private and public schools will resume on August 4 for Senior Secondary School (SSS) 3 students.

He also tentatively fixed reopening of worship centres for August 14.

The Governor warned any private school that fails to meet established guidelines for the prevention of COVID-19 will not be allowed to reopen.

He spoke in a broadcast to the state where he also said there shall be automatic promotions to the next class for other categories pupils and students.

He lamented the spread of the virus in Ogun has been on the “upswing” in the last two weeks, saying the situation was more troubling because most of the infected are asymptomatic.
