Marketers Will Pay Naira for Dangote Fuel -IPMAN

Aliko Dangote Refined petroleum products from the $20bn Dangote Petroleum Refinery are to be sold in naira and not in the United States dollar as speculated in some quarters, oil marketers clarified on Monday. Dealers in the downstream oil sector also stated that the registration process for marketers at the refinery was still ongoing, as many operators had continued to register with the plant. It was further gathered that officials of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority were meeting with the management of the refinery to perfect the pricing template for products produced by the facility. According to the Nigeria Center for Disease and Control (NCD) over 18000 Nigerians have recovered from Covid-19  infection,  yesterday 829 patients of Covid-19 were discharged in Nigeria which brings the total number of discharged patients to 18208

Lagos (180), Plateau (148), FCT (44), Ondo (42), Kwara (38), Rivers (32), Oyo (29), Kaduna (21), Osun (20), Edo (17), Ogun (17), Ekiti (11), Abia (9), Benue (9), Delta (9), Kano (9), Niger (7), Gombe (3), Bauchi(1), Borno (1) and Imo(1).

• Eight hundred and twenty-nine (829) cases were discharged in the last 24 hours in 13 states – 
Delta (584), Rivers (55), Oyo (37), Kano (30), Edo (25), Ogun (22), Lagos (17), Bayelsa (13) Kaduna (13), FCT (11), Kwara (9), Imo (8) and Benue (5).

• Two (2) deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in two states –
Abia (1) and Osun (1).

• All 36 states in Nigeria, and the FCT, have reported a confirmed case.
