Marketers Will Pay Naira for Dangote Fuel -IPMAN

Aliko Dangote Refined petroleum products from the $20bn Dangote Petroleum Refinery are to be sold in naira and not in the United States dollar as speculated in some quarters, oil marketers clarified on Monday. 50,000 poor households to get palliatives in Kano





FIFTY thousand poor households will receive food items and cash as palliative measures to cushion the effects of lockdown imposed on the state to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus pandemic, Governor Abdullahi Gabduje has said.

Governor Ganduje spoke at the distribution of the items to beneficiaries, drawn from the eight local governments and 11,000 polling units that make up the metropolitan Kano on Thursday.

The beneficiaries got a bag of rice, a carton of spaghetti, macaroni, Dawavita four litres of oil each and cash gift of N2,000.

“The state government marked out 300,000 poorest of the poor households in all to benefit from this palliative measures as it begins with 50,000,” Ganduje said.
