Marketers Will Pay Naira for Dangote Fuel -IPMAN

Aliko Dangote Refined petroleum products from the $20bn Dangote Petroleum Refinery are to be sold in naira and not in the United States dollar as speculated in some quarters, oil marketers clarified on Monday. Dealers in the downstream oil sector also stated that the registration process for marketers at the refinery was still ongoing, as many operators had continued to register with the plant. It was further gathered that officials of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority were meeting with the management of the refinery to perfect the pricing template for products produced by the facility. On January 12, 2023, the Dangote Petroleum Refinery announced the commencement of production of Automotive Gas Oil, also known as diesel, and JetA1 or aviation fuel. Sanwo-Olu approves relocation of displaced victims of Abule Egba pipeline explosion



Enumeration of affected victims of Ile-Epo pipeline explosion
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the relocation of over  300 displaced people affected by the Ile-Epo pipeline explosion in Abule Egba to the Igando Relief Camp.
Dr Olufemi Oke-Osayintolu, Director General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA,  disclosed this on Wednesday.
PM News reported that LASEMA received a request from the Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area Chairmn, Dr Augustine Arogun for LASEMA relief assistance for the residents (estimated at 300 men, women and children) who were displaced in the resultant fire from the above captioned explosion.
“We are pleased to confirm that, Mr Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has graciously given his approval to immediately commence relief camp activities and support for the affected people at the Igando Relief Camp, Igando, Lagos.”
