Marketers Will Pay Naira for Dangote Fuel -IPMAN

Aliko Dangote Refined petroleum products from the $20bn Dangote Petroleum Refinery are to be sold in naira and not in the United States dollar as speculated in some quarters, oil marketers clarified on Monday. Dealers in the downstream oil sector also stated that the registration process for marketers at the refinery was still ongoing, as many operators had continued to register with the plant. It was further gathered that officials of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority were meeting with the management of the refinery to perfect the pricing template for products produced by the facility. On January 12, 2023, the Dangote Petroleum Refinery announced the commencement of production of Automotive Gas Oil, also known as diesel, and JetA1 or aviation fuel. Troops Suffers Set Back In Gashigar

Brave Nigerian soldiers celebrate following the routing of Boko Haram fighters in the North East.

Nigeria Soldiers fighting Boko Haram yesterday suffers a setback at about 5.30pm as suspected escaping remnants of Boko Haram terrorists attacked troops location at Gashigar, border area with the Niger Republic,  northern Borno State. The troops did their best to defend the location in vain.
Acting Director Army Public Relations, made this known in a statement released on his facebook page. according to him, in the process, 13 soldiers sustained injuries while some are still missing in action.

The temporary setback made the troops to withdraw from the location.

However, the wounded soldiers have been evacuated and receiving treatment, while efforts are ongoing in search of those missing and clear the Boko Haram terrorists at the general area.
